Common Name: Nettle Root; Tall Nettle; Common Nettle; California Nettle; Slender Nettle; Bichu

Germination Tips: Sow Stinging Nettle seeds directly outdoors in autumn and seeds will germinate the following spring. The seed needs cold stratification ; therefore, it needs a period of cold weather to break the seeds dormancy. If you do not wish to sow direct in the autumn, the cold scarification can be achieved by placing in the fridge for 10-14 days prior to sowing. Surface sow the seeds, keep moist. Seeds will germinate in 10-14 days.
