Description

Kanna extract, known as Sceletium tortuosum, is traditionally snuffed, smoked or chewed for mood enhancement, relaxation, euphoria and as an antidepressant.

It has a long history of use as a traditional medicine by tribes of South Africa where the roots and leaves were fermented and then chewed. It has also been made into a tea or tincture.
