Heimia salicifolia (Sinicuichi; Sun Opener) Liquid Extract

Description

Heimia salicifolia, known as Sinicuichi or Sun Opener, is an important plant for the traditional inhabitants of the highlands of Tamaulipas and Veracruz, Mexico. Indigenous to Mexico, and cultivated in most of South America. The plant contains several alkaloids, including lyfoline, nesodine, and vertine (cryogenine). These compounds are thought to be responsible for its medicinal effects.

Sinicuichi tea is a tradition dating back to the Aztecs. The leaves were crushed, mixed with water and allowed to ferment for a few days, making a nice-tasting tea called Sinicuichi. The effect of the Sinicuichi tea was euphoria and a brightening/yellowing of vision, hence the name Sun Opener. More information on Heimia salicifolia medicinal values can be found here

Dosage: Shake well before use. Use 20-30 drops (1 ml or one full squeeze of dropper), 2-4 times a day. Take with small amount of water or juice.
