Germination Tips: Sow seed in a seed-raising mix just below the surface. Soaking seeds for 24 hours can help soften the seed coat and encourage germination. Water with a fine mist spray to avoid disturbance of the seed.
Alternative method is cold stratification – Sow the seeds on the surface of sowing mix and then put them in the fridge for 6 weeks (stratification). Keep the soil constantly moist and let them germinate afterwards at 20 degC in a bright spot. Germination generally occurs in around 10-28 days.
