Description

Nymphaea caerulea, known as Blue Lily or Blue Lotus, dates back to ancient Egyptian times. Historically, Nymphaea caerulea held ceremonial and spiritual importance. Ancient texts and artwork suggest it was used in ritual contexts and valued for its symbolic and aromatic qualities.

Blue lotus flower has been used in traditional medicine as a natural aphrodisiac, sleep aid, relaxation and anxiety reliever.

Technically called Egyptian Blue Water Lily, Lotus is commonly confused for and misused for this species. The term Lotus has been used by us for customer searching purposes only. Lotus refers to Nelumbo spp.

The Nymphaea caerulea extract is safe to consume, a typical dose would be 300-400 mg per serve. Suggested use – Dissolve into a cup of hot water or tea, or alcoholic beverage (traditionally used in wine).
