Commiphora myrrha (Myrrh) Resin

Description

Commiphora myrrha, known as Myrrh, is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to maintain general health and wellbeing. Myrrh resin is said to relieve flatulence, help remove intestinal threadworms, relieve symptoms of indigestion, and enhance an overall healthy digestion.

It has also traditionally been used to reduce bronchial mucous congestion, and clear respiratory tract mucous.

Myrrh resin is burned for its cleansing and purifying properties. Use a mortar and pestle to grind the resin to make incense, perfume and medicine.
