Description
Clitoria ternatea tea, known as Butterfly Pea, brews up a brilliant blue colour and is commonly used in cocktails, to make Ink Gin, and added to desserts for extra flare. Add citrus and watch the colour change. It has a floral, mildly sweet flavour, somewhat like that of chamomile.

- How to Brew Clitoria ternatea (Butterfly Pea) Tea
Heat water to a boil. Use 1 to 2 heaped tsp of Butterfly Pea flowers for each cup of water. Pour the water over the tea, cover and leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Strain, add your preferred sweetener and serve. Can be enjoyed as a cold or hot beverage.
