Description
The Galangal root, also known as Alpinia galanga, has been traditionally used to treat range of conditions. This including skin infections such as eczema and ringworm, and other conditions such as, poor appetite, bronchitis, heart disease, headache, lumbago, rheumatism, sore throat, and chest pain. In traditional Chinese medicine, Alpinia galanga is known as “gao liang jiang” and is used to warm the stomach and alleviate pain.
Organic Galanga root powder is incredibly versatile, enhancing a wide range of dishes. It shines in curries, soups, and marinades, imparting a warm, spicy flavour that’s both complex and comforting. The rhizome is an aphrodisiac, carminative, tonic, diuretic, expectorant and disinfectant.
