Description

Native to South America, this plant is an annual herbaceous plant, which grows succulent, bright-green, and bushy up to 1.2-1.5 metres tall.

The harvested black seed is made into a beverage, which is high in soluble fibre, omega 3 and oil. The young leaves are also edible, and can be eaten raw in salads.

Germination.
Sow direct or into punnets. Cover lightly with soil 3-5mm and keep moist. Seeds will germinate in 5-10 days at a soil temp. of 21-26°C

Every seed packet is hand counted and is guaranteed to contain at least the number of seeds specified, however human error can occur and please don’t hesitate to contact us if there are any discrepancies.
