Modern research has begun to explore these traditional uses, with studies indicating that compounds in catuaba—such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and terpenes—may contribute to its effects. The so-called “catuabine” alkaloids are of particular interest, as they may have stimulating and neuroprotective properties. Dosage: Shake well before use. Use 20-30 drops (1 ml or one full squeeze of dropper), 2-4 times a day. Take with small amount of water or juice.
