Description

Carolina Reaper is one of the hottest chillies in the world, a small pod, ranging from 5 to 8 cm, with bumpy skin and a tell-tale scorpion-like tail. Plants are a larger growing chilli, reaching around 1.2-1.5 m tall.

Despite it’s extreme heat, this super hot pepper is surprisingly fruity and sweet, that is just before the burning starts! Due to their extreme heat, it is not recommended eating raw and is more suited to making extremely hot sauces or as a dried spice. Wearing gloves when handling these chilli’s or its seeds is recommended; you will feel the burn otherwise.

Germination.
Sow the seeds in light, well-drained soil medium and keep in a sunny location at a temperature of at least 16 C. until the seeds sprout in 16 to 20 days. Keep moist, but not wet.

Every seed packet is hand counted and is guaranteed to contain at least the number of seeds specified, however human error can occur and please don’t hesitate to contact us if there are any discrepancies.
To the best of our knowledge these seeds are viable to the standard percentage for it’s species, either SAB nursery grown or purchased from a reputable trusted breeder. However, if you disagree, please do not hesitate to contact us for up to date germination rates or for a germination test to be conducted.
