What Do The Grades Mean?
The oils are extracted at different times during the lengthy distillation. 1st grade is collected first in the distillation process and then continued for a further amount of time before the 2nd and then the 3rd grade is collected. Ylang Ylang Complete grade means the oil has been distilled in a complete, uninterrupted process.
1st: A delicate aroma, a very sweet and light aroma.
2nd: Deeper still in aroma, less sweet and more medicinal and deep.
3rd: Much deeper aroma with middle to base note properties and potent medicinal like-aromatic notes.
Complete: The combination of all of the above, the best, true representation of the flower.
