Description

Native medium sized tree. A perennial evergreen bushy shrub or small tree growing to 6m. Phyllodes linear to narrow elliptical to 10 cm long. Its cream-colored flowers occur in the early Spring.

It is native to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, but is cultivated extensively, and has naturalised in South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia, and also in Indonesia, Mauritius and northern New Zealand. Contains tryptamine alkaloids.

Common Name.
Grossamer Wattle; Weeping Acacia; White Sallow Wattle; White Sally Wattle.

Germination.
To increase the germination rate, the seed should be treated first. It can be soaked in hot water or the seed can be nicked or scarred so that water will penetrate the seed’s hard coating and induce germination. Use a sandy free draining soil mix and place in a warm area.

Every seed packet is hand counted and is guaranteed to contain at least the number of seeds specified, however human error can occur and please don’t hesitate to contact us if there are any discrepancies.
To the best of our knowledge these seeds are viable to the standard percentage for it’s species, either SAB nursery grown or purchased from a reputable trusted breeder.
