Description

A delicious blend of essential oils needed to make authentic Absinthe. Includes wormwood, fennel, hyssop and about a dozen other secret recipe oils.

Traditional Absinthe recipes are approximately 2ml of essential oil per 375ml of 70% alcohol, or Vodka. Authentic absinthe uses 70% alcohol to keep the oils dissolved.

The traditional method using 70% alcohol, is to add equal part water, once poured into the glass. This makes it a 35% alcohol beverage and as the oils are expected to not stay in solution long, the experience of drinking Absinthe is complete.

If 70% Vodka can not be used, then 30-40% alcohol Vodka will suffice, however with 30-40% Vodka the oils will suspend in the alcohol as very fine droplets. When using 40% Vodka you must shake it vigorously just before pouring.

The oil blend can also be used to flavour chocolate, as aromatic oil in oil burners, or to fortify commercial absinthe.

Packaging.
Amber Glass Bottle w/ Dripolator Lid
